Are you looking to adopt?

First ask yourself 'do I have...' :

  • The proper facilities to keep an animal? Enough space?
  • Time for the animal's needs inc. cleaning out, grooming?
  • A lifestyle suitable for having an animal dependant on me?
  • To work long hours or go on holiday often?
  • Can I afford the cost of looking after an animal?
  • Can I afford insurance to help cover high vet bills?
  • Have I bothered to find out about what the animal will need?
  • Am I prepared to clean up its mess?
  • Will I look after it when it is ill or when it gets old?
  • Will it get on with any other pets I might have?
  • Am I prepared to be responsible for any damage it may do?
  • Have you read the info on our Rehoming page first?

Cats needing new homes

Rose
F
11 Months

Available for adoption

Rose was found in a warehouse, desperately trying to feed her 6 kittens on little more than fresh air and a few mice!!
Someone kindly stepped in to help Rose and her kittens and all are now thriving. The kittens will shortly be available for re-homing and then it will be Rose's turn to be cosseted and finally find her very own family.

Rose is a stunning girl with lots of red/brown autumn-like colours in her beautiful semi-longhaired coat.
We estimate that Rose is probably less than one year old.

Once again, we cannot imagine how such a gorgeous, loving,  friendly girl found herself alone in the middle of a trading estate. She has had a rough start to life, but we have promised her that we will find her the perfect family.
She will make a great addition to any home, she would probably enjoy being an only cat, but is fine with children.

Please note we're situated in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We are happy to consider new homes outside our area, but please be aware that any initial vaccinations, neutering or vet visits will usually be required to take place at our local vet surgery.
If you think you could provide any of our cats with a loving home then please call our Cat Coordinator on 07823 550 886. Please quote 'Branch site'.

Snooky
F
4 Months

Available for adoption

This is SNOOKY and she is a 4 month old little girl who has not had the best start in life. She is all black with a few white hairs on her chest and she has the softest fur !
When she first came in to us she was a scared little girl, but she has had lots of TLC from her foster-mum and she is now a little purr-monster who just wants to sit on her knee.
Snooky really does need a quiet, loving home probably without small children because she has had a turbulent start to her young life and now needs some stability. She is just gorgeous and very tiny but a really loving little kitten.

Bill & Ben are brothers aged approx 15 weeks and they were brought in by RSPCA Inspectors having suffered an accident in their home which needed emergency veterinary attention. Having now had several vet visits and mountains of TLC they will soon be looking for their forever home.
