We are looking for a Sales Assistant (Charity Shop) to add to our Branch.
Hours: 20 hours per week, to include weekends and some public holidays as requ.
Salary: Meets national minimum / living wage
The RSPCA Barnsley & District Branch is a separately registered branch of the RSPCA and are primarily responsible for raising our own funds. We are here to support the work of the inspectors by taking in abandoned or neglected animals and rehabilitate them before finding them a loving new home.
We are looking to appoint a Sales Assistant for our shop on the High Street in Wombwell, although you will be required to cover at our other shop in the town centre, when necessary. This role involves working as part of a team with Managers and volunteers in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the shop and assisting in all shop duties as required. The successful candidate will have a creative and flexible approach to all tasks
undertaken and will be required to cover for other staff members during their absence (eg holidays, sickness etc).
Retail / Sales experience is desirable together with a passion for working in a busy retail environment.
